The Primato follows a rich heritage of European inspired and constructed touring and road race footwear. Mid calf height is standard for racing application. The PU coated synthetic outer construction resists breaking down, deformation and thickness irregularities found in a natural material. Located behind the zipper closure is a stretch panel allowing a unique and personal fit that also aids in inserting your foot in the boot. The dual color injection molded PU shin plate and heel cap offer support and guard the foot from impacts. The shin plate features side venting ports allowing cooling air to circulate in and around the boot. I ordered these for my spouse and myself,only to find that if you are fit, or fat, they will not fasten over your shins. I ride bicycle as well as motorcycle, and have muscular legs - I could not the boots to close, let alone fasten.Returned.

The boots are great and well constructed. However, they are so thick that it is very difficult to get my foot under the shifter to upshift the bike. I have a Honda CBR600RR. I would not buy them for a sportbike. Probably great for cruisers and touring bikes that likely have more room between the foot peg and shifter. Purchased for $20 cheaper on eBay.

This boots are great: comfortable, nice looking and the protection features seams to work, I also have an SMX plus pair but the SMX5 has let them in the closet just for track days, on everyday riding this are the best boots I've tried

FOX Racing Comp 5 Dirt Bike BootsGreat only after you break them in. This is your basic dirt bike boot from FOX. You wont be breaking the bank for something your gonna tear up and wear out on the trails.The first few days you get these boots, put them on and walk around in the house with them. Break them in or your gonna have a hard time shifting cause they are so stiff.Oh, and these are not waterproof. Water will get in them even if your hosing down the bike but they dry out faster then regular shoes!

Icon Women's Hella Boots: So you like your boots little shorter, a little more down for whatever the night may throw at you. (Perhaps it's folded dollar bills). Hella has all of the great riding features of the Bombshell boot but in a foxy mid-cut version. The perfect boot for stepping over the line.
The positivesGreat because I'm 5'3 on my kawasaki, I can now plant my feet firmy on the groundThey dont get scuffed from the gearsVery feminine, and comfortable. I have wide feet, these looked very narrow but its just that...it LOOKS narrow, fits comfortablyThe negativeJust not crazy about it, especially for what I paid for them. But the pros outweigh the cons, so its slightly above averageI wish they had a better grip, I was at an incline, and almost slid backwardI dont love them, but I dont hate them either. They arent terrible, sorry in advance if this review wasnt very helpful.

Just got the boots in the other day they look really nice, fit nicely went a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe and they fit perfectly. The only issue i can really find with the boot is how wide they are at the top. the boot doesn't have much velcro to close the top up, but my pants legs easly fit over the top of them. Thinking i might have the wife put in a bit of velcro so i can close them up a bit better.
